Another mass Baptism was celebrated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo this week, with more than 125 people being received into the Church.

OrthoChristian reported on the reception of 210 catechumens into the Church in the DR Congo in late December, and on the reception of another 105 in February.

And on Sunday, May 3, 127 people were baptized into the Orthodox Church at St. Nektarios Church (Patriarchate of Alexandria) in Goma “in an atmosphere of joy, exultation, and spiritual gladness,” reports Romfea.

The newly illumined range in age from 4 months to 85 years old.

The service was led by Bishop Timotheos of Goma, assisted by diocesan clergy.
