Welcome!

Christ is Risen!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Are you inquiring into the Orthodox faith?

Many thousands have made the journey from where they are into the Orthodox Christian faith. This is sometimes referred to as the Eastern Orthodox Church (after all, Christianity is an eastern faith) or sometimes by the nation they are in, i.e. Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Japanese Orthodox, etc.) It is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are a few things you should know right up front.

The Orthodox Church is Orthodox;

  • Orthodox in doctrine,
  • Orthodox in morals,
  • Orthodox in Worship.

If you’re looking for an orthodox Christian Church, this is it.

This is original issue Christianity: Our faith is much older than most ‘expressions’ of Christianity. Our newest service is about 1,300 years old.

Christianity is not something to think about, it is something to do. Reading the Holy Scriptures, receiving the Holy Mysteries (sacraments), prayer, worship, spiritual life, and most of all Truth in Love. St. Maximus the Confessor said,

“Theology without action is the theology of demons.”

This is a very Orthodox Christian statement.
