Stewardship is how we, as Christians, support ministries. First, in the bond of love, we support our local parish – this is the Tithe (Tithe +1 for New Testament folks). We give to the Lord because we love Him and desire to remain faithful to Him. We also provide for doing His work outside the local parish. This service to the Church and to the Lord is Stewardship also.
