Cambridge’s New Home For Orthodoxy

March 2, 2013 By Fr. John 1 Comment

To: The Principals and Staff and Students of the Cambridge Theological Federation, and all our supporters and friends.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that on 7 February 2013 the Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies we concluded the purchase of our permanent home at

palamas_house

25-27 High Street Chesterton, Cambridge, CB4 1ND.

We are at present moving our work-stations and library from our rented premises in Wesley to Palamas House, which will involve closure of the IOCS Library from today for approximately a fortnight.

There will be some disruption to our working arrangements, and we ask your indulgence for any inconvenience. When we are fully settled we expect to celebrate by a service of thanksgiving and a formal procession to take possession. We are aiming for a date in April and will issue general invitations to all our friends. We are especially gratefu

l to those whose generosity has made possible the acquisition of a building that is in every way ideal for our present and future purposes.

Yours sincerely ,

Professor David Frost

Principal and Administrator IOCS

Oh to be in England now that April’s in the air.

Congratulations Cambridge! Well done. Well done, indeed.
