Fr. John using an apply (sometimes an orange) for an object lesson about God.
As you, our faithful readers, know, Journey to Orthodoxy brings you good news, and only good news, at every opportunity. Recently, we were invited to record some of our live online catechism classes, and afterwards, were made aware that we are seriously overdue for an upgrade of our video and audio equipment.
The truth is that we have always depended on you, our readers and supporters, to help meet such needs, and we are relying on you again.
Here’s what we’re asking. We need a lot of new equipment to record our classes, talks, lectures, and live webinars in HD. We want to raise $1,500 before November.
I’d like you to go to HERE and make a small donation to help us raise the money to get this vital equipment.
Why, you may ask? Well, more than every before, people are searching for the One True Church of Christ – they are searching for Orthodoxy.
Roman Catholics are aghast at the Amazonian Synod, the constant vague and confusing statements coming from Rome, and the consistent degeneration of their spirituality. They’re realizing that there is something serious has gone mission, and they know that there is more.
Protestant Christians are tired of the happy, clappy/seeker-friendly service which offers a spiritual experience a mile wide, an inch deep, and is often loaded with gnostic beliefs. They’re realizing that something is wrong, something is missing, and that there is something more.
Non-Christians in these latter days are turning from the world, desperate to find some beacon of Truth in a dystopian society. Many muslims, buddhists, and hindus are finding Christ. They’re having a spiritual awakening. They KNOW something is wrong. They want to fix it themselves, but they don’t know what it takes.
Journey to Orthodoxy has used new media, for almost a decade, in creative ways to get the most out of our work. We do more for less than anyone in evangelism and mission. We need your help now.
Help us reach our goal now.
