Episcopal Congregation Embraces Orthodox Faith

A new Orthodox Christian church is forming in north Oklahoma City. Mark Wallace, a former Charismatic Episcopal priest, is leading his former congregants through becoming an Orthodox Christian congregation. Wallace and many members of his former Holy Trinity Charismatic Episcopal Church are taking classes and attending services at St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 15000 N May. “I have no doubt in my mind that Orthodoxy has something to offer in American life. Episcopalian Minister and Congregation Convert

It appears the fruits of St. John of San Francisco's labors have paid off. After a year of instruction and a prayer, an Episcopalian clergymen and many from his congregation entered the Orthodox Church. While the members of the congregation were chrismated in April, their former minister was ordained to the Holy Priesthood a little over a week ago.The now Fr. James Hamrick is pastor of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Frederick, MD. Bishop Thomas  of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of North America is scheduled to receive by Chrismation, the membership of the Western Rite Mission in Warrenton, Virginia at 7.00 pm on Friday the 30th of March at Christ Church, 95 Green Street, Warrenton. Fr.
